GOING PSYCHO with PSICOSIS

SS: Hola y Gracias, Psicosis for coming out today and speaking with us. We really appreciate. PSYCOSIS: Horale', no problem holmes. Good lookin out for having me here. SS: LoL!! Awesome. We appreciate you wanting to be here. This is what its about. Let's not waste any time and get down to it... Where are you from and how did you get into wrestling? PSICOSIS: I was down from day one, holmes. I was born in Mexico City and we didn't have any tv's in our house. You know what I'm sayin essay'?... We were poor. It wasn't till I was 9, my mom took me across the boarder to meet some relatives who made it over here. They lived in Texas. When we got to my family in San Antonio, we ended staying like 2 weeks. Purro man, it was purro... Good food, clean bed.. Anyways, my cousin had a friend down the street who had a tv and they were watching lucha libre. Triple A from Mexico. I saw that shit, dawg and I was hooked. You feel me?... When I got back to Mexico, I told my friends in the Pueblo what I saw and one them said his neighbor does lucha libre and had a ring to wrestle. Who would though it holmes'... I met this friend's neighbor and bam!! Next thing you know I'm being trained by REY MYSTERIO Sr WhoaA!!! SS: Wow, what was that like? CHRIS: It was tight, essay. How else would it be?... I trained right along side Rey Jr., Super Crazy, Jueventude and Tiger Mask. Plus, El Hijo de La Parka would come in once and while and train with us. Even the great late, Eddie Guerrero, and his family stopped by. It was off the chain!! Yea, ya!! SS: How long did you train with Mysterio Sr. before breaking out into the scene? PSICOSIS: I trained with Mysterio Sr., for about 6years. I was 9 when I started training and in Mexico you cannot legally wrestle until your 15. I was ready Holmes.. Down and ready. SS: When and where was your first match? PSICOSIS: Misterio Sr., was working for CMILL in Mexico City and he got my first gigs there. My first match was a tag match. It was me and El Hijo De Mil Mascaras against Juventud and Rey Mysterio Jr... It was cool man. Aftr we had some beers and partied. SS: What other companies did you work for? PSICOSIS: I did my time with CMILL for about 7-8months. Then Misterio Sr., got me a job with Triple A in Jalisco. Konan was running shit down there at that time. It was pretty tight. I did a (3) year run down there until I got a call from Paul Heyman from the Unites States. Out of the blue this gringo calls me up. I'm fucken trippin Holmes. Bust out the tortilla chips n salsa... SS: LoL!! Not really sure what that means but continue with the Paul Heyman situation. PSICOSIS: Yea, he hit me up and said he was from the USA, mainly Pennsylvania. He said he owns a small independent company called ECW and wanted me to come down and wrestle for him. SS: Wow, just like that? PSICOSIS: Ey, I can't tell if your being sarcastic or what Holmes... SS: No, no.. Please continue with the Heyman story... PSICOSIS: Well, it turns out that Rey Jr., had been down in the states for like 3 months and he found this small company called ECW and wrestled a few matches down there. Rey gave Paul my number and asked me to come down. He paid for my flight essay.. Paul is down for the swirly. Within two weeks, at the age of 18 I went to the USA of supervised and began working for Extreme Championship Wrestling. SS: oOhh, damn.. Were skewing off course here, lets get back to the topic at hand. When did you get the call from the "E"? CHRIS: I got the call about 8 months after JCW and Paul Orndorff trained me. I did a few JCW shows and a few shows in Rhode Island cuz it was the only place I could get booked. Then I got the call from Antwan who said he purchased WWE from Vince and was looking to bring me in. SS: How was your xperince working Antwan? CHRIS: In the beginning it was great. He was straight up with me. He said he was gonna bring me in by the 3rd year. During that time I did some modeling and weight lifting competitions. Finally, when the actual time came I was looking good. I was told I was gonna work with John Cena for a few shows due to our similarities. Antwan approached me and said "Its your job to out John over and make yourself a standout heel". I thought it was gonna be a success, John thought it was gonna be a success... But it turned out it wasn't. SS: What went wrong? CHRIS: Bottom line, our styles were way to similar. Out of the 4 matches we had, maybe (1) was good. The rest either slowed the entire show down or just stunk the arena up. John always had a positive attitude about it but I knew something was wrong. SS: Did you accept what was going to happen next? CHRIS: Not at all... I had just arrived. Sure my first program wasn't that great but it wasn't all bad. I didn't even get to really find my place at the WWE. SS: When did you get the bad news? ChRIS: Ironically, the day after Survivor Series. I teamed with Hunter & Shawn to face John and 2 other guys and I cleaned house. They booked me to make me look strong going into my Rumble Match with Cena. Evidentally, Antwan called me and said "Great job last night. You really got yourself over. Unfortunately, its a little too late Chris. We might have to let you go after Mania'... We got a lot of guys coming in and we honestly don't know where to put you".. SS: I was heart broken. I wasn't even given a real shot. Who gets "canned" aftr 1 year?.. I don't know I guess its my fault. I was given several matches and I couldn't come through. I finished out my program with Cena and then got my walking papers. SS: Did things for you and Antwan end well? CHRIS: No, he is a piece of shit now. Before I left, he came up to me and said "Chris, I gave you shot and you looked horrible. You cannot wrestle. That's the real reason we let you go. Go back, learn a few new moves then we can talk".. I looked at him and told him that of he didn't give shit about being arrested that I would kick his ass. He looked at me and told me " You touch me, I will choke you out".. I just got in his face smiled, picked up my bag and walked off. SS: Wow, sounds intense. Do you think He could really choke you out? CHRIS: LoL!! NO!! This guy bought a company. He BOuGhT! Dude never wrestled a day in his life and he is telling me I can't wrestle. That Jiu Jitsu jackoff can blow me. He knows it too. I'd fuck him up... SS: So I take it, your NVR going back to the WWE? CHRIS: Depends. I know Antwan won't work with me directly so me going back would be someone else idea. He would put obstacles in front of me just to piss me off. If I'm in the mood to play his little games then yeah, I'm in. SS: What are your plans now? CHRIS: I'm back in school. Trying to get that law degree. I still wrestle for Big Time Wrestling & EWF on the west coast. I'm available for bookings at the MastrLock@aol SS: Awesome, before we conclude this shoot.. We have a little word association for you... ChRIS: Cool. Lets do it. SS: UNDERTAKER CHRIS: Hard worker. Definitely, takes the business serious. Ultimate gimmick with a job for life. SS: JOHN CENA CHRIS: Strong as hell. Very positive. Lives and breathes to be at Wrestlemania. SS: HULK HOGAN CHRIS: Egotistical. I heard he has changed but when I was there he wouldn't give you the time of day. SS: SHAWN MICHAELS CHRIS: Good guy. 2nd biggest Ego behind Hogan. Awesome worker who doesn't turn down your ideas. He will try anything and everything to be in that spot light. SS: TRIPLE H CHRIS: Good guy. Very supportive and helps a lot of the guys out. Doesn't care for the belts anymore. Really changed since his divorce. SS: BRET HART CHRIS: Great mentor. Always supports everyone. He beats himself up more than he does opponents..LOL. Always trying to be perfect. SS: Awesome sauce, Chris. We appreciate you coming out.
